23 Week 4-D Ultrasound

Today we got a better glimpse into what our two precious peanuts look like. We had a 4-d ultrasound done at Before the Stork in Anaheim Hills by my good friend, Ashley. Baby girl was the supermodel today as she gave us tons of amazing shots! She was moving like crazy and in a great position for beautiful pictures. Baby girl definitely has her daddy's pouty lips! Baby boy, on the other hand, was quite the sleepy little boy. He yawned for us several times. His little hand was covering his face most of the time, as if to say, "leave me alone people, I'm sleeping!" Baby boy was super snug laying on his placenta like it was a pillow. It was super cute, but didn't allow us the best view of his adorable little face. He did suck his thumb, though, which melted my heart! Both his daddy and Papa Jim were excited by his thumb sucking because it was with his left hand. Ashley said that "they" say that typically the thumb sucking hand ends up being their more dominant hand, so we may have a left handed dribbler after all! We were all amazed by how close they are in the womb. They literally look like they are sharing the same sac, but they aren't. At one point it looked like he was sitting on her and another time she was kicking his head! We had so much fun and are getting so excited! I only have 4 more weeks of work.
