Clayton and Chloe's 4 Month Photo Shoot

I may be biased, but I think my little ones are pretty darn cute! Enjoy! Oh and special thanks to Grammy for making the adorable hats!

Clayton and Chloe are 4 months old now!

Both Ryan and I can't believe how fast time has gone. Clayton and Chloe have brought so much happiness to our lives and have truly enriched us as individuals and our marriage. Here's what's new in Clayton and Chloe's fascinating little world:

Clayton is...
-Smiling and giggling like crazy. He's become such a cute, little flirt.
-Rolling over from his tummy to his back. He took a little break after doing it at 2 months old, but now does it like crazy again.
-Working really hard at rolling over from his back to his tummy.
-Reaching for and grabbing toys with both hands.
-Putting everything in his mouth, including his hand, which is clearly his favorite teething toy.
-Sleeping with his soft blankie every night. He loves his blankie and reaches for it right when you put him in his crib.
-Making so many adorable noises. We love listening to him "talk" because he is so loud and talks constantly.
-Making noticable eye contact...I think he even is aware now of who Mommy and Daddy are because he's started crying when he's in the arms of someone unfamiliar.
-Filling out his 3-6 month clothes with his chunky legs and belly.
-Wearing size 2 diapers.
-Playing with the toys on his toy bar in his car seat. We love this new found joy of his because it gives us some peace and quiet in the car and it's just fun to listen to him play and explore.
-Loving rings...we have rings attached to just about everything.
-Sitting extremely well in his Bumbo seat.
-Totally aware of Chloe now...he loves looking at her and always seems amazed every time he sees her.
-Eating 7 ounces 4 times a day.

Chloe is...
-Smiling and giggling. She loves it when you kiss her sweet neck.
-Rolling over from her tummy to her back. She often does this little trick in her crib, which then causes her to cry because she hits her little head on her soother.
-Pushing up while on her tummy really well even though she really doesn't like tummy time.
-Still loving her paci...she's very aware of it now and opens her mouth for it and "holds" it in while she's in her crib.
-Blowing raspberries! Nonnie taught her this little trick. She thinks she's so funny when she does it too and even does it after we do it. So smart!
-Completely aware of us now. She follows us so well with her beautiful blue eyes.
-Becoming quite sassy! She's perfected the "I mean business" cry and has started doing it more often.
-Still a big stretcher. She always stretches after a long sleep and even has an adorable "stretching" face.
-Enjoying the play mat, especially when she's on it by herself. She doesn't like it when Clayton's crazy arms or legs get near her when they are on it together.
-Grasping onto rings and other toys really well.
-Wearing size 2 diapers.
-Still wearing size 0-3 month clothes, but can wear most 3-6 month clothes too.
-Sitting really well in her Bumbo seat.
-Totally aware of Clayton. She loves staring at him and has the same look of amazement as he does every time she sees him.
-Eating 7 ounces 4 times a day.

And...BOTH Clayton and Chloe are sleeping 10-12 hours straight every night!

Here are some pictures that capture the fun we had this past month...

On September 5, 2010 Clayton and Chloe turned 4 months old! They had a professional photo shoot at our house that day, so by the time I got my camera out for more pictures, Clayton and Chloe were done smiling!

Naked babies photo shoot! I love "dressing" Clayton and Chloe in just their diapers. Clayton loves showing off his "Superman" pose...he could do tummy time all day if I allowed him to!

Happy Babies! Clayton is so happy when he wakes up in the moring. He always greets us with lots of smiles and talking until he realizes he's starving of course! Chloe is much more sassy in the morning, but is always full of precious smiles when she wakes up from naps. They are both super giggly and smiley after their bottles...it's Mommy and Daddy's favorite time!

Bath time! Clayton and Chloe both love taking baths. Chloe blows raspberries and Clayton kicks and splashes like crazy! He thinks he's really funny when he splashes Mommy!

Clayton and Chloe got to meet Mommy's cheer and song friends from high school at our annual summertime picnic. It was so much fun visiting with everyone.

Ryan and I took the babies to Dana Point for the weekend to celebrate our 5th anniversary. We had so much fun with Clayton and Chloe. We walked around the beautiful grounds, ate dinner in downtown Laguna Beach, had breakfast in Dana Point Harbor, went swimming (Chloe giggled and Clayton cried!), and had a delicious dinner at Las Brisas for our anniversary. I surprised Ryan with a new wedding ring with my name, the babies' names, and the date engraved on the inside. He loved it!

In an effort to be "Super Mom" I took Clayton and Chloe to My Gym to try their infant class. They both especially loved the swings!

Reading Clayton and Chloe their first bedtime story, "The Night You Were Born." Such a precious moment for me.

Our strong baby boy and sweet paci princess!

Clayton and Chloe rockin' their "Don't Worry Be Happy" shirts!

Daddy double fisting it after Clayton and Chloe's 3 month shots!

Having fun with their best buddy Paige Kline!

Clayton Joseph and Chloe Grace were baptized at Santa Clara de Asis Catholic Church on Sunday, August 15, 2010. It was a really special day for our little family. Chloe wore the beautiful gown that both my mom and I wore and Clayton wore a handsome outfit handmade by his Grammy. She also made Chloe an adorable little dress that she wore for the rest of the day.
