Our sweet Little E had quite the month! I feel like his development sky rocketed this month and he's officially on his way to becoming a toddler, which makes me a little sad, but excited for all of Easton's new adventures! Easton continues to eat like a champ. He loves bananas, peaches, pears, butternut squash, yams, broccoli, zucchini (his fave!), green beans, and carrots. He still nurses and because of that is a definite mommy's boy and mommy loves it! The boy is on his way to crawling--like any day now! He started rocking on his knees at about 6 1/2 months old and going from his tummy to sitting days before his 7 month birthday. He really tries to crawl, reaching and reaching, but gets scared and pulls his hands back. Easton has started sleeping better in the past few days and was found sitting in his bed at 5 AM--time for Daddy to lower his crib and baby proof the house! He continues to humor us with his growl and now has these high pitched, loud yells and screams; he's not mad, just wants to be heard! Easton must be realizing that he's going to have to be loud to be heard in this crazy house! He loves Clayton and Chloe and relishes attention from them. They are super sweet with him, but don't like it when he takes their toys, so lessons of sharing continue to be the running theme in our home. We love our Little E!
On Sunday, October 21, 2012, Easton James was baptized at Santa Clara de Asis Catholic Church. It was a perfect day filled with love for our little man. Grammie made Easton the most beautiful baptismal outfit. Precious is an understatement! We were honored to have my dear forever friend, Angela Conlee be Easton's godmother and Ryan's childhood good friend, Danny Pierro be his godfather. Both Angela and Danny will be such faithful role models for Easton to look up to. Following his baptism, we had our family and friends over for a delicious lasagna dinner made by Nonnie. Easton is our little miracle and God's child--we are forever thankful for our baby boy.
Here's some pictures that perfectly capture our Easton James' 6 month...
Happy boy!
