Today we celebrated our little surprise miracle's 2nd birthday. We had such a fun day celebrating Easton James! I worked hard the evening before to make is a special day for him. Easton loves sports, so the downstairs was all adorned in a collection of baseballs, basketballs, footballs, and soccer balls. He woke up to streamers and balloons hanging from his door jam, which he loved. Daddy surprised him with a sprinkled donut (his absolute favorite) and we gave him his big gift from us, a pirate water table. The little guy knew this day was special. After taking the twins to school we took Easton to the OC Zoo at Irvine Park. We had such a wonderful time exploring the zoo with just Easton. He loved the rooster and petting the goats. Easton literally loved each and every goat and heavily protested when it was time to go. He got to pet a lizard and a snake. Easton loved the snake. Who loves snakes?! Due to his newfound love for snakes he now says "ssss" when you ask what a snake says. Smart little guy! He then rode a pony, which he loved. His smile the entire day was so perfect. We capped off our date with lunch at Stefano's and then off to preschool to pick up the monkeys! That evening the family came over to celebrate Little E. What a loved and spoiled kid he is. He got a Lighting McQueen ride-on (PJ & N), scooter (PL & G), Volcom outfit (K, L, & J), money for his college account and piggy bank (GG), helicopter (C & C--they even had to help me pay for it with coins from their piggy banks!) and a couple more treasures from us. Easton devoured his blue frosted funfetti cake (you should have seen his poops!)
