We LOVE his...
- adorable "toothy" smile--he has quite the gap between his front teeth
- crab crawl when he is wearing shorts
- high pitched "just want to make sure you know I'm here" screams
- utter happiness every morning when he wakes up after his 12 hour slumber
- open mouthed kisses
- determination
- fascination with birds, airplanes, and helicopters
- love for food...the boy eats everything, including dirt, sand, rabbit poop, and dog food!
- love for playing with Clayton and Chloe
- hearty giggle, especially at random, silly things his brother and sister do
- obsession with climbing the stairs, even though it makes Mommy a little crazy
- desire to do everything he is not supposed to do!
Easton's stats:
- Easton is 29 1/4 inches long and 20 pounds, 12 ounces. The goal is for babies to triple their birth weight, which he did!
- He has 6 teeth (2 bottom and 4 top) and has a seventh ready to pop up any day.
- 12 months growth stats:
- Easton crawls like a mad man, cruises and walks with assistance. He has taken a step here and there, but isn't quite ready to take his big boy first steps.
- His hair is still blonde and he has the most beautiful blue eyes.
- He can wear some of his 12 month clothes still, but 18 is much more comfortable.
- Easton just got his first pair of big boy walking shoes from Stride Rite--they're gray and bright green (Daddy insisted, rather than the white and navy shoes Mommy picked out).
- He's slowly weaning from Mommy, though Mommy isn't in any rush to eliminate his nighty night nurse.
- Easton absolutely loves his birthday present from Mommy and Daddy--a cozy coupe car. He climbs in and out of it, pushes it around, and sits forever in it. The twins have been really good about understanding that it is Easton's toy and when he wants to use it, they have to let him.
- He adores his blankies. Mommy is probably going to have to have a couple of his Aiden and Anais blankets cut down to a more "carry around" size for him.
Words cannot express how in love we are with our Easton James. We can't wait to watch him grow this next year and further see his little personality develop.
Here's some pictures of our little man...
